6 September (Friday):
19.00 Check in starts at the aparthotel Sweet Residence & Gardens
21.00 Welcome session with cocktail

7 September (Saturday):
08.00-10.00 Breakfast
10.00 Programme about EDXC
– 10.00 EDXC topics (past, current + coming incl EDXC 2014), Kari Kivekäs (1,5 h)
– 11.30 Quo Vadis EDXC? Quo Vadis DX?, Risto Vähäkainu (1 h)
12.30 Break / Lunch on your own
14.00 Visit to the Salt Museum of Figueira da Foz;
16.00 Visit to the local FM station Rádio Foz do Mondego, in Figueira da Foz.
18.00-20.00 DX Programme
-18.00 “Radio broadcasting and DX’ing in Portugal” (Mika Palo will show Portuguese DX’er Luís Carvalho’s PowerPoint presentation, related comments and discussion by Mika Palo & José Rainho)
-19.00 Italian DX’er Dario Monferini’s slide show about his recent trip to Peru
20.30 EDXC banquet

8 September (Sunday):
08.00-10.00 Breakfast
10.00-18.00 A day tour by bus including:
– a visit to the historical centre of Coimbra
– a visit to the transmitter centre of RDP Centro
– a visit to Quinta do Encontro vineyard + a wine museum in Anadia
18.00 Return to the hotel + DX programme/evening free
– 18.30 A documentary film about Hörby transmitter station in Sweden, Kari Kivekäs (0,5 h)
– 19.00 Anker Petersen’s presentation (slide show) about his DXpedition to Malaysia and Sumatra

9 September (Monday):
07.30 A quick breakfast
08.00 Check out from the hotel
08.15 Departure to Lisbon by bus
11.00 A tour in Lisbon
– visits to RDP Internacional & Radio Renascença
– lunch on your own
– sightseeing in Lisbon
17.00 End of the official programme

Visit to the Sottomayor Palace is unfortunately cancelled, because the Palace is under renovation. Instead of it, we are able to visit to the Salt Museum. EDXC banquet will have a place 30 minutes later, please notice also the new leaving time for Salt Museum and new time for “DXing in Portugal” at 18.00.
