The Canadian International DX Club, Canada’s national radio monitoring club, has prepared a special 10-page feature article “Focus on Ukraine”, providing dozens of links to information sources on the conflict in Ukraine, including a lot of radio information. The feature is available through the club’s web page at https://cidxclub.ca/ukraine
You can also request a free sample copy of the CIDX monthly publication “Messenger”. Simply send an e-mail to sample@cidxclub.ca
Also, Chris Greenway and Simon Hicks of the British DX Club reported, on 10 March, that in effect, Ukrainian radio now has a 24-hour-a-day service in English. Many radio and TV stations in Ukraine have joined into a joint service called “United News” – also known as the “UA: Together marathon”. The public broadcaster joined its three domestic stations into a single network after the invasion and is one of those that is airing “United News”. It provides a simultaneous translation in English at a live stream: https://radioplayer.ua/eng
From the website you can also find a link to Ukraine Radioplayer that offers an app in your phone app store. In the app, which ran in English when downloaded it in the UK, you will find this stream. Along with the Ukrainian and Russian versions. The Radioplayer appears to be a local version of the UK original software.
